There are a benefits to physical activity these include

Physical activity can help tackle health problems and reduce the risks of

  • Heart disease and Stroke
  • High blood pressure and high Cholesterol
  • Arthritis
  • Some Cancers

How much should I be doing?

30 minutes physical activity is recommended to be healthy 5 days a week

What activity should I be doing?

There are a number of activities that are beneficial for older people These include

  • Brisk Walking
  • Dancing
  • Aerobics
  • Cycling

These type of activities keep your heart and lungs in good working order
