We are hosting a Nutritional Guidance Course, comprising of 4 workshops delivered by a registered nutritional therapist from the Melton Borough . The workshops will cover:

  • Effective weight loss for energy
  • Portion sizes
  • Detox
  • Answering any questions you may have?

2. Purposeful Physical Play – FREE training to enable you to promote and deliver effective purposeful play and physical development programmes to children aged 0-5. Targeted at Early Years Practitioners for ongoing opportunities to share progress and learning with your peers.

3. Risky Play – FREE workshop to aid parents and carers as well as individuals working within recreation, health and wellbeing, education, mental health, research, social services and those committed to healthy child development, supporting risky play.

4. Safeguarding & Protecting Children - This workshop is for Coaches, Team Managers, Club Officers, Teachers, Volunteers.

Learning Outcomes:

- Identify the foundations of safeguarding, good coaching practice and child protection.

- Recognise and respond with the appropriate actions to the signs and symptoms of child abuse and poor practice.

5. Creating Inclusive Play and Leisure Environments for Children with SEND - The course looks at embedding inclusive practice not as an afterthought but through every element of the development and delivery of a successful Play or Leisure Provision. The course is targeted for Community Play and Leisure Activity Team Members and Volunteers e.g Sports Clubs, Youth Clubs, play schemes.
