As the world is evolving rapidly, British Cycling are embracing change head-on, modernising how they work, think and engage.

British Cycling are updating their digital systems, overhauling their website, and reviewing their governance structures, amongst other things that will benefits all parts of their community, from clubs to volunteers.

Supporting & Growing the Sport

For many, cycling as a sport is currently difficult to understand, access and navigate, as confirmed by 41% of current British Cycling members. British Cycling are also lacking in diversity: in their clubs and competitions women represent under a fifth (19%) and less than a quarter of participants across sport are under the age of 16.

Research shows that thousands of people from all back grounds, ages and abilities, have a huge appetite to ride with clubs and groups, and to enter competitive events.

British Cycling need your help

Achieving this isn't something that can be done alone. Evolving the sport requires the collaborative efforts of the whole community, from riders, experts and coaches, to officials, volunteers and fans - and so your thoughts are critical.
